Thursday 18th February
10.00 – 17.00: Launch of the “Tuning” validation committee (closed meeting)
13.00: Opening session of the ATGENDER conference
Harriet Silius & Iris van der Tuin, ATGENDER co-chairs E.U. officials and Gender specialists Inés Sánchez de Madariaga, the current director of the Women & Science Unit in Spain
13.30 – 15.00: ATGENDER builds on ATHENA, AOIFE & WISE: Results from some of the ATHENA3 working groups, AOIFE sponsored projects, WISE activities and projects for ATHENA4 Parallel sessions & Posters[3]
15.00 – 15.30: Coffee break
15.30 – 17.00: Informal “mix and mingle” to discuss possible working groups for ATHENA4 and “brainstorm” around other initiatives under the umbrella of ATGENDER, including projects for committees, conferences, joint projects, publications and events.
17.00 – 17h30: Tuning delegation preliminary report back to the conference
19.30: Dinner (please remember to register in advance)

17.00 – 18.00: General Assembly ATGENDER (see below)
18.00: Closing reception & book presentations from ATHENA3
NB. A poster room and book table will be available throughout the duration of the conference. Remember to bring your flyers, publications and presentations for all the participants to discover and share.

[1] Event sponsored by ATGENDER, AOIFE, ATHENA3, WISE and the Inter-Gender Nordic Research Institute.
[2] No registration fee is required for the conference, but ATGENDER membership fees must be paid before or during the conference in order to vote at the ATGENDER General Assembly on Friday afternoon.
