ATGENDER Board Elections

ATGENDER General Assembly, Utrecht, April 9, 2011

Report of the Voting Committee

The Voting Committee for the election of new ATGENDER Board was appointed by Harriet Silius, Chair of the General Assembly. Members of the Committee were: Sara Goodman, Nicky Le Feuvre and Sandra Prlenda. Vera Fonseca assisted in the counting of votes.

After the voting was completed, the Voting Committee counted the total number of voting slips (157, of which 148 were valid paper ballots, 8 were online valid ballots, and 1 was invalid paper ballot), before counting the number of votes for each candidate.

The members of the Voting Committee congratulate all the newly elected Board members and look forward to working with them in the future.

ATGENDER Background

The professional association ATGENDER has been founded in September 2009 by WISE, AOIFE and ATHENA3. We strive to foster an exchange and cooperation between the academic community and women’s organisations, women’s documentation centers and libraries, policymakers and NGOs in the field of women’s rights, gender equality and diversity, and ambassadors for diversity in profit and non-profit organizations.
